Her service of more than 30 years representing the people of Urban Honolulu at both the state and county level make her the most prepared on the issues and challenges of the district.”

“Donna Kim is not afraid to take a hard stance against waste and corruption in government, and when it comes to the middle class and protecting the rights and pay for workers, we know Donna will fiercely stand up and be a voice we can count on.” Taketa added.

”This endorsement is very special to me. Not only because my dad was a lifelong member of the Carpenter’s Union, but also because the Carpenters were the only Union to take a chance and endorse me in my first race in 1982 where I won by just 29 votes. So, I am honored to have the Carpenters at my side in this campaign” said Kim. “My father instilled in me his strong character and tireless work ethic. I continue to honor his memory by applying his lessons in my daily life as I serve the people of Hawai’i.”
