Legislature Suspended Indefinitely

In accordance with the Governor’s emergency proclamation and the nationwide guidelines to avoid gatherings of 10 or less, the Legislature has suspended the session and all pubic meetings indefinitely in the interest for the safety and well-being of the public and all those who do business at the State Capitol. During this suspension the State Capitol will remain open to the public as we continue to serve you and do the people’s work. My office will remain open from 9am to 4pm to address constituents concerns by phone and email and to work on legislative matters as long as we can do so safely. Older citizens should stay home and everyone must exercise social distancing of at least 6 feet to reduce the contact between individuals and prevent the spread of COVID19.
