MORE YMCA FEEDS KIDS SITE ADDED & EXTENDED TO MAY 8

A local non-profit steps up to feed Hawaii's hungry keiki for summer

Thanks to the generous support of the Hawai’i Community Foundation’s Hawai’i Resilience Fund, additional YMCA Feeds Kids sites have been added; and program extended to May 8 -  where children ages 18 and under can pick up free Grab & Go meals, while maintaining social distance, Monday through Friday, 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.

The healthy lunches prepared according to USDA standards include a protein, whole grain, vegetable, fruit and milk. Each lunch is individually packaged and distributed under the sanitation and safe hygiene guidelines of the CDC. Adults picking up meals must be accompanied by their children.

As of last week, 10,489 free meals have been distributed along with 959 gallons of milk.
